Functions on Demand
As flexible as your life.Functions on Demand allows you to purchase selected features simply and easily after purchasing a vehicle via the myAudi.
With the smart services predictive maintenance¹⁰, ¹¹, ¹², ¹³, ¹⁴ and remote vehicle diagnostics¹⁰, ¹¹, ¹², you have nothing to worry about on your journey. You can easily access the world of smart services via the myAudi app¹⁵, ¹⁶: Your personal digital service assistant for your Audi.
With the smart services, you can always keep track of your vehicle’s condition. Thanks to targeted over-the-air assistance, your Audi partner is always by your side. You will get quick assistance no matter your location and can avoid unnecessary workshop visits.
Activation:
Simply go to your myAudi app¹⁵, ¹⁶, activate the predictive maintenance¹⁰, ¹¹, ¹², ¹³, ¹⁴ service in the Service section, and keep track of the status of selected wear parts¹⁰.
Benefits:
Your vehicle detects possible warnings on the basis of information from sensors, the time and mileage and passes them on to your Audi partner. This way, you receive a proactive offer of quick help. Thanks to remote vehicle diagnostics¹⁰, ¹¹, ¹², we can service your vehicle remotely.

Audi assistant⁹
Simply use your voice to control vehicle and infotainment functions. Tell the Audi assistant⁹ what you need. The weather forecast, a new navigation destination, a different radio station? Done. Over time, it will get to know you better and better and suggest recurring operating actions for automation, such as the air recirculation function in a specific location.
Discover new possibilities.
Tap on the Audi assistant⁹ icon in the status bar to open the dashboard view. Alongside operating tips and sample voice commands, you’ll find suggestions for routines that can be activated and undiscovered functions, all individually tailored to your situation.
Say it your way.
You can activate the Audi assistant⁹ by pressing the button on the steering wheel or by saying “Hey Audi”. If you’re alone in your Audi, just say what’s on your mind. The Audi assistant⁹ will respond directly to “I’m cold”, “I’m hungry” or “Call Peter”.
Proactive suggestions and routines.
Do you love the seat heating when it’s cold in the morning? The Audi assistant⁹ remembers frequent operations and suggests storing them as routines and activating them automatically in future. You will also receive proactive suggestions for little used features in suitable situations.
Always there when you need it.
The virtual Audi assistant⁹ is graphically displayed at the top edge of the MMI screen. The four moving elements illustrate when listening, processing or speaking are in progress, for example. The voice interaction is also displayed in text form in the Audi virtual cockpit.

Use selected apps directly in the MMI of your vehicle⁸ – without a smartphone.
Of course, you can also benefit from the Audi active coach functions outside your vehicle. For example, you can also use the exercises provided here, analyze the routes you have driven and favor content that you particularly like.
Apps such as Amazon Music, Spotify and YouTube can be downloaded from the Audi Application Store and displayed on the MMI touch display in the vehicle. You’ll find your ready-installed apps on the MMI homescreen.

Discover a growing selection of apps. Neatly sorted into categories such as news and podcasts, sport and games or video and entertainment.
Use outside the vehicle:

Mesmerising photos or famous heroes of cinema: simply go to the theme world³, ⁵. section in your myAudi app³, ⁴. Select your favourite image and display it as a background in the MMI. A nice effect: the ambient light package plus automatically adjusts the colour mood to the motif.
You already know the search function for points of interest (POI) in your Audi navigation system, but do you know what else the advanced POI search offers you? At POIs, discover a wide range of offers from selected partners – e.g., from the areas of petrol stations, parking, shops, coffee & fast services, restaurants, fashion – when parked or when stopping at a traffic light. We have this in almost all current Audi models with an active Connect licence.

The use of 3D virtual reality glasses when on the road: - is only permitted for persons in the second row of seats sitting sideways - is permitted for people who are more than 1.5 metres tall - is only permitted if the person using the 3D virtual reality glasses is not able to reach any object in front of them (for example, the rear surface of the front seat) with their fully extended arm (including extended fingers) - is only permitted if the necessary safety measures (for example, holding device) are attached to the 3D virtual reality glasses. For maximum safety, we ask passengers to fasten their seatbelts before starting a trip and to attach the safety strap of the headset to the belt.
