Audi connect Navigation & Infotainment brings practical services on board your Audi thanks to LTE: such as point-of-interest search including reviews from yelp or search results from Google.
Audi connect navigation & infotainment includes:
The system warns of accident and breakdown points as well as of dangerous weather conditions such as fog or black ice. At the same time, hazard points for vehicles with analogous vehicle sensors are detected and relayed to other drivers online. The identified potential risks are displayed in the navigation system and in the instrument cluster.
Destination search and route guidance at any time directly from your smartphone. The route guidance is seamlessly and conveniently transferred to the vehicle navigation system when the vehicle is started and continued there. When leaving the vehicle, the smartphone automatically takes over the route guidance and leads you along the last steps until your destination.
By creating a user profile¹ for the vehicle, a variety of settings, such as ergonomic, infotainment or lighting settings can be stored in a personal user profile.

Online news allows current reports and news from all over the world to be displayed and read directly in the vehicle. If required, the personal news overview can be customised via myAudi using an RSS feed. This way, news on specific topics such as football results, political news or business news can be kept in view while driving.

Know what the weather will be like, no matter where the journey leads. Audi connect delivers precisely tailored information: weather forecasts and severe weather warnings are presented using vivid infographics and weather maps. So the weather for the next few days can be predicted to the hour or displayed with the help of the rain radar.
Photos or famous heroes of cinema. Simply select your favourite picture in the theme world¹⁰,¹¹ section of your myAudi app¹⁰,³ and display it as the background in your MMI. A nice effect: the ambient light package plus automatically adjusts the colour mood to the motif.
The Audi assistant makes interaction with the vehicle even easier through voice control for numerous vehicle and infotainment functions. As part of the Audi connect navigation & infotainment¹³ package, the assistant also provides access to a wide range of online content such as the latest weather or possible navigation destinations¹⁴.
In addition, the connection to ChatGPT®¹⁵, provided via Microsoft Azure® OpenAI® Service¹⁵‧ ¹⁶, enables concentrated knowledge from the Internet to enter the vehicle in natural language.¹⁷
The combination of online speech recognition integrated in the system and included in Audi connect navigation enables a range of vehicle and infotainment functions to be operated intuitively. For example, it is possible to activate the footwell heating by saying “I have cold feet”.
The Audi assistant can be activated by pressing a button on the steering wheel or by speaking the words “Hey Audi”. If only the driver is in the vehicle, supported commands can be recognised if required without speaking the activation word first.¹⁸
By activating “proactive suggestions and routines”, the Audi assistant gets to know the logged-in person in order to make use of the vehicle even easier and more convenient. For certain recurring operating tasks, such as activating the air recirculation function in a certain place or adjusting the seat heating, routines are created automatically and suggested for activation. In addition, the Audi assistant proactively recommends previously undiscovered or rarely used convenience functions¹⁹ at the right moment.
After the term of Audi connect navigation & infotainment¹³ has expired, voice control of many of the available vehicle functions, such as air conditioning settings, is still possible. Learned routines are also retained. However, online speech recognition and online content can only continue to be used if Audi connect is extended.

Audi connect navigation & infotainment can be used to the full extent only in conjunction with an activated MMI navigation system plus. Please note: The functions work only within system limits and are partly dependent on the availability of third-party services. AUDI AG assumes no liability with regard to the correctness of this data. Use of the services supported by Audi connect is possible only in conjunction with a navigation system. Audi connect services are provided through AUDI AG/importers. The data connection for Audi connect services is established through a mobile services provider via a SIM card permanently installed in the vehicle. The costs of these data connections are included in the price of Audi connect services. The availability of the services supported by Audi connect navigation & infotainment varies from country to country. Depending on the vehicle model, Audi connect provides access to services from our service providers and third-party providers. If Audi connect services are based on services from our service providers and third-party providers, permanent availability cannot be guaranteed as they are responsible for availability. The Audi connect services are provided for 24 months from new vehicle delivery. Following this period, the services will be extended free of charge once for another 12 months.
