Kick-off and history: Your day begins at the Audi driving experience centre in Neuburg an der Donau with the handover of your car. To get you in the right mood for a day full of motoring culture, you can first explore the Audi museum mobile at the Audi Forum after an initial drive to Ingolstadt.
Performance on your own terms: Afterwards, a day full of confident driving dynamics in the Audi R8 Spyder V10 performance quattro* awaits you. You’ll receive a carefully planned route recommendation for your journey through the Altmühltal Nature Park, which covers almost 3,000 square kilometres. Decide for yourself when and where to enjoy the drive – always accompanied by romantic river landscapes, bizarre limestone cliffs, juniper heaths and medieval castles.
Highlights along the route: Your personalised itinerary will guide you to selected locations if you wish. Discover Eichstätt, the cultural heart of the valley, with its cathedral and Willibaldsburg Castle, founded in 1355. Experience Berching, a town over 1,100 years old, which impresses with its fully preserved historic defensive wall complete with thirteen towers. In Riedenburg, the hilltop Rosenburg and Prunn Castle, which towers over the valley from a steep cliff, await you.
Culture and cuisine: In Kelheim, we (it is) recommend (to have) a visit to the monumental Liberation Hall, which offers sweeping views across the valley. The Baroque Weltenburg Abbey, picturesquely situated on the Danube Gorge, also invites you to take a break at its abbey tavern. After a thoroughly enjoyable drive and these lasting impressions, you’ll conclude your tour at the starting point in Neuburg an der Donau.
