Salzkammergut tour

Day 1: After a short theory session, you will drive towards Chiemsee via Wasserburg and head to Söllhuben to enjoy a hearty Bavarian lunch. Freshly fortified, you will continue towards Salzburg via Mondsee (Moon Lake), taking a short stop in beautiful Sankt Gilgen before heading to the Jagdhof Arabella on Lake Fuschl.

Day 2: After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to head further into the mountains. You will negotiate the Postalm and Gschütt passes, drive alongside Lake Hallstatt and then take lunch directly on the legendary Lake Wolfgang. You will also have the option of visiting the beautiful town of St. Wolfgang. You will then continue towards Bad Ischl on Traunsee, along the southern shore of Lake Atter and back to the Jagdhof Arabella on Lake Fuschl for an evening get-together over dinner.

Day 3: The last day of the tour takes you back into the mountains. Your route will take you via Hinterthal and onto the Rossfeld Panoramic Road, where you can once again savour the spectacular views across the Alpine foothills. You will then head towards Bischofswiesen and continue to the Gut Steinbach hotel in Reit im Winkl. Following this final refreshment, you will then take the main road north towards Munich Airport so that you can not only bypass all the urban congestion but also enjoy one final chance to savour the beautiful countryside.^*
