Performance Finland Arctic Adventures training

Performance Finland Arctic Adventures combines intensive, sporty driving training on the ice (with the Audi RS 5 Avant on frozen lakes) with an extraordinary, extended supporting programme. This includes a dog sled tour, a ride with electric Audi models to the reindeer farm, a visit to the SnowVillage, which is built from ice and a helicopter sightseeing flight.

For safe operation on the outdoor icy surfaces, constant temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius are necessary. In the event of an unforeseeable thaw, Audi reserves the right to cancel the experience at short notice for safety reasons. Travel cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

The aim of the Performance Finland Arctic Adventures training is to gain confident vehicle control in wintry conditions.The program combines intensive driver training with authentic experiences in Lapland:improved vehicle control on icedynamic response in complex driving situationsspecial experiences in nature and activities off the track from the training areas

The practical program at Performance Finland Arctic Adventures includes:drift techniquesfast combinations of bends and alternating curve techniquebraking in a curve and free drivingtime trials on extensive circuits

In a Performance Finland Arctic Adventures training, 2 people share a training vehicle and take turns at the wheel for the exercises.

A maximum of 10 people per session take part in the Performance Finland Arctic Adventures training.Minimum number: 6 participantsMaximum number: 10 participantsSupervision ratio: max. 5 vehicles / instructor

The goal is to internalise the interplay of accelerator, brake, steering angle and load changes so that the vehicle moves confidently and safely at the dynamic limits.

The sporty Audi RS 5 Avant{ft_ade-rs-5-avant-en} will be used exclusively for the Performance Finland Arctic Adventures training. In addition, all-electric Audi models will be used for the trip to the SnowVillage.
