Performance Finland training

Performance Finland is a sporty driving training course with an advanced level of difficulty (level 2) for drivers with experience on winter slopes who are looking for an exclusive driving experience with a special closeness to nature in Lapland.

As an introduction to the Finland programs, Performance Finland is ideal for participants who have already gained their first experience during a basic winter training (such as in Seefeld or Saalbach) and now want to experience drifting on vast, frozen lakes in the Arctic Circle.

The Audi driving experience Performance Finland driver training is offered in two formats:Option 1
4 days: 2.5 days of active training, 3 nights
Option 2
5 days: 3.5 days of active driving, 4 nights

To participate in the sporty Performance Finland training with an advanced level of difficulty (level 2), we recommend that at least one winter training (from level 1) has been completed.Recommendation: at least one Audi training experience winter training (level 1 or higher) or comparable training by another provider/basic knowledge of oversteering/understeering is helpfulDriving licence: driving licence valid in Finland requiredMinimum age: 18 years

For safe operation on the outdoor icy surfaces, constant temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius are necessary. In the event of an unforeseeable thaw, Audi reserves the right to cancel the experience at short notice for safety reasons. Travel cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

In a Performance Finland training 2 people share a training vehicle and take turns at the wheel for the exercises.Standard occupancy: 2 participants per vehicle (double occupancy)Optional: single occupancy available on request

A maximum of 20 people per session take part in the Performance Finland training. Minimum number: 6 participantsMaximum number: 20 participantsSupervision ratio: max. 5 vehicles / instructor

Participants learn how to control the precise interplay of acceleration, brakes, steering angle and visual guidance in order to keep the vehicle confidently drifting even at dynamic limits and on bare ice.

The Performance Finland training exclusively features the powerful, sporty Audi RS 5 Avant{ft_ade-rs-5-avant-en}.

The “Performance Finland” basic program (advanced level of difficulty, level 2) combines driving dynamics and an experience of nature. The “High Performance” program, on the other hand, has a high level of difficulty (level 2.5). It is mandatory to have completed ice pre-training and focuses much more strongly on sporty competitions to test individual skills.
