The Drift training is a sporty driving training with an advanced level of difficulty (level 1.5). It is ideal for experienced drivers who have already gained experience on winter tracks and want to experience the fascination of controlled drifting.

To participate in Drift training, we recommend having completed at least one Audi driving experience training from level 1 or higher on snow and ice.Recommendation: at least one winter training from Audi training experience (level 1 or higher) or comparable training from another provider/basic knowledge of oversteering/understeering is helpfulDriving licence: valid car driving licence required in AustriaMinimum age: 18 years

Carrying out the training on the prepared icy surface outdoors requires constant temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius. Should unpredictable weather conditions (e.g. sudden thaw) develop shortly before or during the event that impair safety, Audi reserves the right to cancel the training session, even at short notice. Participants are therefore advised to take out travel cancellation insurance.

The main goal of Drift training is to get to know the special requirements of sporty and at the same time controlled driving on icy surfaces.Participants will learn:superior vehicle movement when driftingpurely dynamic exercises with the aid of all-wheel drive

The purely dynamic program of Drift training includes the following practical modules:Powerslide: targeted acceleration to keep the rear controlled in driftCornering & drift techniques: precise steering and acceleration commands for harmonious drifts on iceSlalom: dynamic load change and continuous drifting through pylonsFinal handling course: combination of all acquired techniques in a challenging circuit

The learning effect focuses on perfecting vehicle control. Participants learn how to initiate and control drifts in a targeted manner and how to control dynamic cornering in order to maintain excellent control of the vehicle even at critical moments.

Especially at the Seefeld location, the current Audi RS 5 Sedan{ft_ade-rs-5-limo-en} is used for Drift training. (At the second location in Saalbach, the Audi RS 3 Sportback{ft_ade-rs-3-sportback-en} and the Audi RS 5 Avant{ft_ade-rs-5-avant-en} are used instead).
