The new e-performance on ice format is entirely dedicated to electric driving dynamics. It offers an outstanding combination of vehicle control on ice and targeted learning of drift techniques – and this is done exclusively in all-electric Audi models.
 

The training introduces participants to the advantages of electric driving in an entertaining and informative way. Participants can test how directly the traction and driving dynamics of electric vehicles respond directly under extreme conditions (icy surface), which results in fascinating moments.

The e-performance on ice training will help participants learn about the special driving behaviour of electric vehicles on snow and ice:response of immediately applied electric torque during acceleration, drifting and load changesspecific braking behaviour (e.g. ABS braking with electric drive) on extremely icy surfaces

The sporty e-performance on ice training with an advanced level of difficulty (level 1.5) is suitable for drivers who want to experience and learn the special features of electric driving dynamics on ice.

The training is compact and designed for one intensive day of training.

Due to the sporty level (advanced level of difficulty, level 1.5), at least one completed Audi driving experience training from level 1 is recommended for participation in the e-performance on ice training.Recommendation: at least one Audi training experience (from level 1) or a comparable training from another providerDriving licence: driving licence valid in Austria requiredMinimum age: 18 years

Carrying out the training safely on the prepared icy surface requires constant temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius. Should unpredictable weather conditions develop (e.g. thaw conditions), Audi reserves the right to cancel the training session, even at short notice for safety reasons. Travel cancellation insurance is therefore highly recommended.

The all-electric e-performance on ice training takes place on specially prepared icy surfaces against the impressive backdrop of the Austrian Alps in Seefeld (Tyrol, Austria).

The main goal of the e-performance on ice training is to get to know the special features and advantages of electric driving on icy surfaces.Participants will learn:vehicle control on icetargeted drift techniques, specially adapted to the characteristics of electric vehicles

The dynamic practice program includes:ABS braking with electric drivehandling slalom for precise steering and load changesthe development of harmonious curve and drift techniquespowerslides (targeted acceleration to keep the vehicle drifting)a final handling course to combine all techniques

The focus of the e-performance on ice training is on getting to know electric driving dynamics in detail. The participants are to learn to use the electric torque in a targeted manner in order to achieve sovereign vehicle control and to perfect drift techniques in the electric vehicle.

Two all-electric performance models will be used in the e-performance on ice training: the Audi RS e-tron GT performance{ft_ade-rs-e-tron-gt-performance-en} and the Audi S6 Sportback e-tron{ft_ade-s6-sportback-e-tron-en}.
